Expanded support for WAVE audio import. Now supports importing any uncompressed WAVE file.

Added Text Only export format for HTML. May be useful in its own right, and is intended as a workaround for extracting all text.

Added a Title field to Frame Properties, for display in the Story Tree and accessible when printing through the <FrameTitle> macro.

Added frame image border width option to the Layout tab of Print Setup.

8.2 - Can read all previous formats; versions earlier than 0.80 cannot read this format. Versions earlier than 0.86 will remove sound clips on load. Versions earlier than 0.82 will remove opacity keys on load.

Added basic sound support in the form of sound clips, which appear in the Story Tree. See the Working with sound overview.

Other sound features:

  • File > Import Sound.
  • Sound playback in the Movie View.
  • Sound Export when exporting to AVI.
  • Record Timing and Record Sound buttons in the Movie View.
  • Sound Clip Properties dialog, with basic properties (Title, Offset, Start, and Duration).

Bugs fixed:

  • Some buttons don't update correctly on Windows Vista.

Now tested and supported on Windows Vista. Help is now compatible, and some graphics were improved.

Supports institutional deployment with the registration key on a read-only network share.

Vista and XP - save changes during forced shutdown due to reboot after Switch User, or during Vista updates.

Bugs fixed:

  • In the unregistered version, the image watermark was drawn twice when zoomed in.
  • Added better notification when the search string isn't found.
  • Some story sections weren't showing up in the Frame menu.
  • Crashed benignly while exiting after the program has expired.

Miscellaneous:

  • The current time (frame poster time) is now shown in the main tool bar. This is particularly useful while working with frame animation.
  • Edit > Search And Replace for frame text.
  • Frames' times (start, end, overlap, and duration) are available in the HTML export templates. Two new templates are added that include them: "One tall page, start time", and "One tall page, all times."
  • Full undo for frame text edits.

Bugs fixed:

  • Redone drawing doesn't show up.
  • Undo drawing on full-color layer makes garbage.
